We recently closed a $42 million Series B round led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from NEA, 20VC, Essence, Burst Capital, Susa Ventures, and notable angel investors including Olivier Pomel (CEO of Datadog). Just seven months ago, we raised our Series A funding, which was led by NEA. Our Series B brings our total funding to $65 million.

We plan to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand our data centers. The expansion comes as customer demand has surged, with our total revenue growing 8x over the last 12 months. Today, we power software development for more than 1,000 of the world's most ambitious companies, including:

The next 100 billion commits

Coding agents mean the next 100 billion commits are arriving faster than anyone planned for, and they need infrastructure built for one thing: performance. Hyperscalers like AWS and GCP optimize for production workloads, not for the coding, build, and test environments that agents depend on.

“The use of agents in software development challenges the tradeoff assumptions made by prior generations of tooling. Namespace is the platform that can meet the demand for speed and scalability, while delivering the same reliability and security that engineers have grown accustomed to.”
Javier RedondoPartner, Scale Venture PartnersScale Venture Partners

We're building the developer platform for this next wave of software development from the ground up, with a single focus: fast coding, build, and test environments across Mac, Windows, and Linux. We design and deploy our own server racks worldwide, which lets us deliver the best performance available for the way software is written today. Our suite of products is built on that engineering foundation:

Investing in Mac at any scale

Some of the most important interactions today happen on an iPhone or a MacBook. Yet almost every infrastructure provider skips Mac, which means a developer's agent trying to build an iOS or macOS app for the App Store has nowhere to build or test it. Coding agents need a Mac at any scale with all the required iOS and macOS developer tooling. This has led to overwhelming demand for our Mac environments.

“Namespace is the best dev infrastructure tool I've used in years. We run everything from our CI to Oz, our cloud agent platform, on Namespace, and I could not recommend it enough.”
Aloke DesaiHead of Product Engineering, WarpWarp

With the new funding, we will expand our data centers, including our fleet of Mac hardware.
