Installation - Namespace Documentation

Install the Devbox CLI by following the instructions for your operating system.

Install

curl -fsSL get.namespace.so/devbox/install.sh | bash

curl -fsSL get.namespace.so/devbox/install.sh | bash

Run the following command in PowerShell:

irm https://get.namespace.so/devbox/install.ps1 | iex

Restart your terminal if devbox is not available on your PATH after installation.

Pass a release version to the install script to install that release instead of the latest one. The version may include a leading v.

curl -fsSL get.namespace.so/devbox/install.sh | bash -s -- --version 0.0.194

& ([scriptblock]::Create((irm https://get.namespace.so/devbox/install.ps1))) -Version 0.0.194

Update the Devbox CLI to the latest release:

devbox update
