devbox update to update the CLI to the latest release. The command downloads the release for the current operating system and architecture, verifies its SHA-256 checksum, and replaces the current executable.
If the installed version is already current, the command leaves the executable unchanged and reports the installed version. Transient download failures are retried automatically.
devbox update is not available inside a Devbox, where the CLI version is managed for you.
