GitHub Actions to Namespace migration
Interactive demo for sighted users: a network graph with Namespace at the center and a line out to each open source project it sponsors, the projects on a slowly turning ring. A pointer hovers one project after another, and each opens a preview of that project's GitHub repository with its description, homepage, and watcher, fork, and star counts. Hover or tap a project to open its preview. The graph sits on a subtle off-white texture.

Why we run this.

I got into software through open source. As a teenager I built a KDE GUI so I’d stop typing configure, make, make install by hand. In my twenties I maintained IPv6 routing tools.

At Google I saw how much great infrastructure changes the way developers work. Outside a handful of companies, it still doesn’t exist, and maintainers are rarely inside that handful. Slow CI means batched changes, skipped runs, and contributors stuck waiting in a queue.

Much of the code we ship at Namespace lands in Foundation, the OSS platform underlying our services. Everything we run stands on open source: Kubernetes, Postgres, ClickHouse, Bazel, BuildKit.

This program is how we pay it forward. We sponsor the compute, caching, and observability so your pipeline keeps up with your contributors.

If you’re building something open source, we’d love to hear from you.
