GitLab Early Access
We’re excited to share that we’re expanding beyond our current integrations and are now integrating with GitLab Runners.
We're looking for a small group of early testers to partner with us as we roll out this new offering. The GitLab runner integration is built on the same reliable infrastructure and technology you already use, ensuring the same commitment to speed, stability, and simplicity.
If you leverage GitLab for your CI/CD and are interested in shaping this new feature, while getting early access, please let us know.
Custom Base Images: Faster, Smarter Provisioning
Our runners include a comprehensive set of tools out of the box, regularly updated to keep pace with the latest software releases. Now we're making it even easier to work with base images.
Custom images, dramatically faster
Need tools that aren't in our base images? You can now prepare custom base images for your test suite while still benefiting from Namespace's high runner performance.
We've completely rebuilt our custom image integration from the ground up. Instead of loading entire images upfront, we now provision only the pages your runners actually need. This leverages the same dynamic data pipelining technology that powers our persistent volume platform, resulting in significantly faster boot times.

Query base images programmatically
You can now programmatically query our base image contents using our new API endpoint. This means you can start adopting the latest Xcode versions the moment they become available, without waiting for manual updates.
macOS: Faster Updates
Our macOS runners continue to provide exceptional performance for isolated macOS and iOS testing. This month, we made Xcode 26.3 RC available on Tahoe and Sequoia within hours of Apple's release.
Latest macOS releases now available:
- macOS Sonoma 14.8.3
- macOS Sequoia 15.7.3
- macOS Tahoe 26.3
iOS developers need the latest tools immediately, which is why we continuously update our runners with new versions across all major macOS releases.

Linux on Apple Silicon: More Power, More Options
Demand for our linux/arm64 offering powered by Apple Silicon continues to surge, thanks to its best-in-class per-core performance for ARM workloads.
Massive capacity expansion
We've significantly expanded our available capacity to meet growing demand.
Nested virtualization support
Linux VMs on Apple Silicon now support nested virtualization, enabling even more complex workflows and testing scenarios.
New 6 vCPU shapes on M4 Pro
To help you optimize performance and cost, we've added 6 vCPU configurations for Linux on M4 Pro. The full range of available shapes now includes options from 1 vCPU with 2GB RAM all the way up to 12 vCPU with 56GB RAM, giving you precise control over your runner specifications.
Enhanced Audit Logging
Security and compliance are critical for enterprise teams. Namespace collects immutable audit logs to help you track and monitor activity across your organization.
Expanded log types
We've added a large number of new audit log types to provide deeper visibility into platform activity.
Revamped UI
Our audit log interface has been redesigned to make it easier to navigate, search, and find relevant information quickly.
SIEM integration
Enterprise customers can now sign up for Audit Log Forwarding to integrate with your existing SIEM platform.
Windows: Closing the Gap
Our Windows platform continues to grow in popularity, and we're committed to bringing it to feature parity with our other platforms.
Autoscaling disk size
New Windows runners now include autoscaling disk size based on instance shape, matching the behavior you already enjoy on Linux and macOS.
Performance improvements
We've landed several performance optimizations to make Windows runners faster and more responsive.
Wrapping up
We have recently focused on several key areas, including the launch of an Early Access program for GitLab Runner integration and significant performance enhancements, such as on-demand provisioning for Custom Base Images. We also introduced massive capacity and feature expansions for macOS, Linux (Apple Silicon), alongside enhanced Audit Logging features with SIEM integration for Enterprise customers to bolster security and compliance.
