About the role

Join our systems team to build the low-level components that power Namespace's high-performance compute platform. You'll work on container runtimes, job scheduling, networking, and storage systems that enable lightning-fast builds and tests.

What you'll do

  • Build and optimize container runtime systems for maximum performance and security
  • Design efficient job scheduling and resource allocation algorithms
  • Implement high-performance networking solutions for distributed workloads
  • Optimize storage systems and caching layers for build artifact management
  • Profile and tune system performance at the kernel and application level
  • Develop security isolation mechanisms for multi-tenant compute environments
  • Build tooling for system observability and performance debugging
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams on platform reliability and scaling

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience with systems programming and performance optimization
  • Strong expertise in Go, Rust, C/C++, or similar low-level languages
  • Deep understanding of Linux kernel, containers, and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with networking protocols, storage systems, and distributed computing
  • Knowledge of security models, isolation techniques, and multi-tenancy
  • Proficiency with performance profiling and system debugging tools
  • Understanding of modern CPU architectures and memory systems
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, containerd, runc)
